sorry for joing the party so late, but this find is fantastic,
and the whole premise is really good, can't believe its a BFTB exclusive to boot.

I have to stand up for the Baron and this site, when I say I was really dissappointed that some other site (he who shall not be named, but rhymes with p#ss stank), with the amount of half-arsed, "we created the world, and anything outside of it is not recognised" comments (regardless of age). I used to visit that site, but then there was the whole inter-site wars etc, and recently you can't even look at a picture without having to log in, and now this; I don't think I'll be there anymore (I did notice the handful of good guys trying to point the masses in the right direction) -so here's a wooden spoon, get stirring!

But putting that aside, its a great answer to a true mystery.

Well done to all! :-)

Please, everyone. Bombard this loser with PMs.
I say we set a certain time to bombard him with £1 or €1 offers.

i prefer the idea that it's 'future' force. cuz they use all high-tech sh*t, like laser-fission boosted plasma cannons, collimated lasers, sonic screamer guns, immobiliser putty guns, UCAVs and rail guns...

y'know Star Trek-style ray-guns. zap!

Crom, I have never prayed to you before. I have no tongue for it. No one, not even you, will remember if we were good men or bad. Why we fought, or why we died. All that matters is that two stood against many. That's what's important! Valor pleases you, Crom... so grant me one request. Grant me revenge! And if you do not listen, then to HELL with you! -Conan the Cimmerian

I noticed something that can help validify the Bombidier figure.

http://www.bloodforthebaron.com/toys/00 ... index.html

The 1983 Palitoy Catalogue. The photos would have been taken in 1982. They would have made the catalogue to spark up interest with the retailers, before the figures were released. So, they would have used hand painted mock ups for the photo shoot. In 1982 they only had straight arms to use for these mock ups. That is why the vehicle drivers in the catalogue are straight arms, and that would explain why the Bombardier that Dave Tree found was a straight arm. They probably were planning to release the F Force late in 1983 or early 1984. Since they were probably going to release the figure in a later run, they would have made production quality samples of the figure. That is where the one that is on Yojoe would have come from. Hasbro would have most likely had veto power on the Hasbro mold figures and they would have recieved samples of the figures here in the USA. The Yojoe pictured figure was purchased from a former Hasbro exec, living in Florida.

Now none of that can be proved, but it is true that they would use hand painted prototypes in the catalogues.
Just my rambling thoughts. Hope they were not to confusing.
Chris

You're right. I never noticed but the Quarrel and Steeler form that catalogue are also straight-armed.

Back in the day only green ink was used by head SIS.

The only others were "persons of a compromisable nature, in thought, word, and deed."

So, is this a fix, or an IA?
