custom posts go up 1st, the last week of the month a seperate post goes up, "voting for custom of the month, august"
which is a poll with the months entries in it.
first post will be thumbnails of all the entries.
(i can take care of this if you want.)

I think a week is too long, what happens to customs submitted during that week?

ok, all entries need to be in by the 29th, on the 29th it will be closed & then voting will take place 29th, 30th & 31st?
i think that will work good, i like the idea of a few days @ the end for voting, it's true people change there mind, so i think the best option is having a few days when everything is up & can all be seen together!

I guess just open up the next month submissions the same day the poll goes up.

no, i mean next month! 3 days voting @ the end, then announce the winner & start the next comp on the 1st.
3 days off between the 2....... i would say no re-voting, make people really think about their vote & if the comp is closed during voting we dont need it.

Ah gotcha. Okay, the last three days of every month it is!
