Roadblock's dream was to be a Gourmet chef. He was working as a bouncer to earn money to attend the Escoffier School in France when a recruiter convinced him that the Army could train him just as well. At boot camp, Roadblock found Army menus and preparation techniques too appalling! He remained steadfast in his goal to be a chef, but at the same time, developed a new skill-being a heavy machine gunner! He was selected by Tiger Force because of his ability to operate a heavy machine gun, in addition he could transform simple K-rations into gourmet delicacies.

Big Bear grew up in a place where the conditions are cold, wet, and nasty - everyday! He can be meaner than a Siberian wolf with its leg caught in a steel trap and wilder than an Murmansk fur merchant. Transferred from the elite 103rd Guards Air Assault Division, Big Bear's main gripe about the Oktober Guard was the constant reference to it as the Soviet Union's counterpart of G.I. Joe! He would snap back stating, "G.I. Joes - OUR counterparts!" Big Bear enjoys rumbling into battle behind the wheels of the infamous G.I. Joe Attack Cruiser and Badger!

It doesn't take long for them to figure out the only way they will get down the mesa is to slide down the rope and pray they land in a soft pile of dirt at the bottom!"
