Well after being issued with a severe weather warning of an arctic Armageddon what happened, it warmed up and rained so no more snow. Don't worry Met Office just because you can't forecast accurately 6 hours ahead I'm sure your long term predictions are right.

If you want hot and sticky, you should try Mississippi or Louisiana. Jesus. I was there in July, and i just sweated. I mean, seriously, you didn't have to do anything, like move, even watching the TV i was just pouring. The humidity was so bad, i found it difficult to breath - too much moisture. Unpleaasant.

Crete is pretty bad in the summer - dry heat (not too bad), but temperatures reaching 51 or 52 (c.125 degrees) mean that people literally fall over and die in the street. Feels a little bit like England right now... cool and promise of rain, with snow in the mountains.

Talking of the snow button - can we have it back? I quite liked the blizzard effect.

Cheers dude, it was the sunsetting over Peterborough last February (I live about 9 miles away from the city), the Fens may be flat with nothing but large open fields, but it's a cloud spotters paradise as we have massive sky's.

Autumns the best time of year to see 'em, late afternoon's produce some breathtaking bright golden @ red sunsets with wonderful cloud formations, with huge flocks of Starlings flying in formation getting ready to roost.

Louisiana sound's like my idea of hell Hopper, I hadn't suffered from an astma attack for over 20 years untill we had a heat wave about 3 years ago now, one night I couldn't breath & I felt like I was going to die ..nope as far as I'm concerned you can keep the heat, it's snow & ice for me.

A few days ago close to my street around 11 p.m.

Typical Dutch suburb: not the most exciting places to live, but quite affordable.

It looks lovely with the Snow. Any fishing to be had on the river?
