I totally disagree I have never used that as a guideline as it's auctions. I won the firefly £43 as it finished mid week midday if it been on a Saturday it could of got £100+ every item is worth what YOU are prepared to pay and nothing more. If you pay £500 for something and I would only pay £200 I will wait until it turns up and get a deal that suits me. You can either spend silly money on items or be patient you'll only pay what you can afford anyway.

Do you sit and stare at it while naked and rubbing peanut butter into your armpits?

Ebaycompleted listings is like Bullseye I find - "just look at what you could have won...."

Why tease yourself with the "I'd have paid that" mentality. And top and bottom of it is you'd likely not have won it 'for that' as you don't know how high the winning birders highest bid actually was!!!

If you stare too much at red, blue and yellow you may end seeing this:

:firefly: £43 seems unreal, but I've benefited from some freakishly low wins due to the random o'clock listing finish. SAS Hawk & Blades, loose but mint for £10 about 2 years ago.

Good ethos, be patient and you'll find it for the price that is right for you.
Almost zen.

Or do what I do and have an empty credit card, a bottle of cheap 13% wine and an iPhone! Good way to lose all your money :screwy:
