Wow, that looks superb!

Very impressive. If you could get them looking like AF characters then that would be totally fantastic.

I have just finished the first draft of Episode 1 of my story.

I think were well under way!.

Prototype Shadow

Post by steve »

Early test images of a CG Shadow. The limitation of the uniform this is based on is that it is not textured, rather it is a block colour with some trim pieces. As such I can't get the black shoulders done yet. Otherwise they did come out pretty well.

Looks really good. I've never bothered with the CG stuff. I know If I start I won't stop and I really don't have the time. Like you said Long Term!.

Question: is there likely to be room for story material here on this site?

I plan to do the story in PDF format at the moment and put it as a download on my blueyonder site.

Cheers guys, nice to know its going in the right direction.

For me CG is good as I'm no expert in it, but I can produce some fairly good results with the little artistic skill I have.

Most of my CG work so far has been in the form of trek ships (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/steven.bacon) but that project has been the opposite to this as I've built all the models from scratch, and have deliberately not textured them, as I want to maintain a simple consistent visual style for that site. The AF work involves texturing models that are available elsewhere.

For the future, I've certainly got space (and bandwidth) available for a 'fan fiction' area on the main site. Perhaps we could start a discussion to discuss the practicalities of this.

I second that Steve.

I think between you & ariaisland & any other budding writers/drawings. It would be a hit & it`ll also be great to see these guys again in a New light.

Never know Steve, maybe AF is being watched to see what exactley is done ;) After all the CGI Captain Scarlett on Sat kids show (MOM) was jaw dropping & If a Action Force CGI one was done, well l think we can safely say we`d be Very happy with that :D

So yes l think it`s a GREAT idea :D

I have now completed writing Episode 1. Episodes 2 through to 5 its conclusion are well on there way.

A webadvert is ready to be released and I am awaiting some pictures to spice the story up visually.

Steve, if there is room anywhere here for a PDF of the story (which is what I intend it to be) then please let me know. Unfortunately I can't tell you the file size until I have the competed file.

Things are hotting up....and I intend them to get a lot hotter!!
