I have managed to dig out the annual with the

Ironblood profile in it. It was the 1985 BAF annual. Photos to follow hopefully.

it was great seeing them a little in the baroness arc but man I really want to see more red shadow action

kinda wish the first year would have had the joes fighting the red shadows instead of nameless guys

many people had a big problem with the new look of the foot soldiers but now I look at the origin story of the Black Major and the RED SHADOW troopers are all wearing trenchcoats just like the DDP Red Shadows troopers, so the only thing different in the Black Major story and the DDP story is the Mask.

with a little imagination one could easily imagine them with the helmet on for different situations

Im going to color a few panels of the black major story and post them here for people to compare but ya they look the same

I say kudos to DDP ! whether or not it was on purpose LOL
