I saw it too, I am surprised it lasted as long as it did.
The only reason I didn't buy it myself was I have just bought mine and my nephews season tickets which has cut my spending for this month.

£85's a good price for that, what does he think it will go for? When is he listing it?

Think he is putting it up this weekend. He hasn't said how much he think's it'll make. I think it will go for close to £200 based on other that he sold and the one you sold the other weekend.
Jim,
He did join but hasn't posted yet(user name postman, of all friggin things!). He is too busy gloating at me!

£200? for a misb moondancer? wow. From recollection moondncer and dolphin seem to be figures that can go for either v silly or crappy prices. Was lucky enough to pick mine up minty and cheap.

He sold an incomplete loose one for £124 the other weekend. So I can see where he is coming from. However, I would have started it lower and stuck a reserve on it.

Personally I would have started the auction at the price I paid for it. The lower a starting price the more watchers you'll attact and the bigger the bidding frenzy.
How's the silent treatment going so far?

Reserves tend to put me off. I just imagine they are likely to be high and I don't bother bidding. Everyone is out for a bargain and reserves tend to preclude that possibility.
I probably would have started it lower too. But if he sells at that price that would be a tidy bit of business and congrats to him.

I know I'm weird with these things, but I hate MintInSealedBag stuff. I love MOC & Mint in Box, but I hate MISB.
With carded stuff you can display it nicely, you can see the figure, and the cards and stuff look well too. Stuff in bags just doesn't look well displayed, no matter what you do with it, and the only possible way I can see of displaying it is either to open it and instantly half its value, or get it AFA graded as uncirculated if that's your type of thing.
Thats why I sold my MIB stuff.
Rant over - nurse, I'll have my tablets now please....
