Is that the new Glimpse magazine? They had to change the name from Peek after the first issue. Or was it the old Nylon Flash?

Squad Leader - his real name's Tony Rusecki. He's photographed all the great modern pinups (I'm a big pinup fan and I think Thundershot is too!).

Hi Annie,
Yup it was the Nylon Flash magazine, thanks for the info about Tony's real surname..@ wasn't aware of his real name before hand.
I absolutely adore this style of Pin Up photography & art work, I think it all stems from seeing the nose art of old W.W.2 bombers as a kid, so I've taken out a regular subscription to Glimpse magazine (to which you so kindly pointed out to me).

Sort of Sqauddie, it's like modern day models (& burlesque performers) wearing reproduction's, or modern designs, of 'old style' lingerie... check out the web site for a taste, it's all rather tastefully done, just like the old Pin Up mags that feature Bettie Page ,& the like
http://www.glimpsemagazine.co.uk/index.html
I also managed to pick up the latest copy of the 'What Katie Did' catalogue, who also had a stall @ the show, which Tony does a lot of photography work for as well.

I do have some original 1950's mags too (Spick & Span) ... found in an old garden shed, who ever had stashed 'em there must of forgotten all about them long ago.
I imagine some bloke having a sneaky peek @ 'em whilst hiding from the wife.

Found 'em, all very innocent by today's standards...
All Spick & Span

Dig the airbrushed coloured covers.
From 1958, she must be a very old lady by now...

Bloody nice. I have to get the VAM out and take 1/6th shots of the Red Berets vs the Jerries now.

My Grandad always had a saying, "You look spick and span, where were you when the sh*t hit the fan?"

FANTASTIC PICS as always.

Thanks Mark,
There was a nod to the the Australian forces who took part in the Vietnam war, by the Rolling Thunder team a couple of whose members were dressed in the period full Aussie uniform & gave a demonstration of thier SLR's fire power & tooled around in a Land Rover with Kangaroo badges painted on the doors
