Great work Paul, & please keep in touch with every one here via the site occasionally to have a quick chat, a laugh (or even a moan about life in general) amongst friends :-D

You could put those carded SWs in a vintage store and nobody would notice they weren't there before.
And stay in touch, Paulitoy, even if it's just on the Off-Topic forum.

Jaw-droppingly excellent. Right down to the mixture of different international styles used for figure names on the cards.

I have loved seeing your customs on here - thanks for sharing them.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the positive responses and the private messages.

My lack of interest in AF is nothing personal with anyone, I've just moved on a bit.

Its not even a recent thing as I probably lost interest about 4 month's back.

The reason for posting was just to finish off the S.W.S. project.

I've got a final few mini AM's to finish yet so I'll still be posting some more customs in a month or two's time.

Being married and having a 10-month daughter has just changed my priorities a bit, as well as having everything [and a lot more besides] that I ever wanted to collect. There's the lesson I guess, never buy everything that you want as its all down hill from there... :doc:

Anyway, thanks again for the positives. Keep up the good work!

:doc: :doc: :doc:
Muchos Regardos,

Hoxworth Whipple

I've been told by many people that having children makes you seriously reassess your priorities in life..that's natural & is how it should be, as Mark says it sounds as if your life is good for you & long may it continue to so :-D
Paul, it wouldn't surprise me that as soon as the kids are all grown up & left the nest & you near old age & retirement, toy's will become a major interest again. ;-)

Not to mention they will be old enough to think that AF is cool and want to play. ;-) Another generation into the fold.....

well Paul the end of an era, from a personnal point of view your collection and customs are truely inspirational and when i started collecting your collection was what made me think it would be all worth it,

some say a change is as good as a rest, perhaps in the future you will be back in full force, congratulations for what you have a achieved and the work you have done, it's simply brilliant.
CIA got you pushing to many pencils.
