it was a series in the US, a limited series ala the offical handbook of the marvel universe that MUS do for their superheroes.
the book's basically a reprint of the LS. the fact-files in the comic were reprints from the book, before they started doing new ones for the likes of the Headmasters, Micromasters, Pretenders et al.

The book also has the movie characters at the very end, not sure if they were in the original 4-part mini-series. There was no vol 2.

Good God did you ever throw anything out?
I have to say that those Transformers comics are really nice. I simply do not remember any of the original comics and I feel hollow and empty as a result. This thread is doing nothing to prevent me from wanting to start a G1 Transformers collection.

I think it's my photo of the poster, Cosmos is (a dark shade of) green in day light, years of being on my bedroom wall may of effected the colouring too.
I think this is a famous image, but still one of the best examples of Transformers artwork ever..
