:. That information is classified.

Actually it's a good question that I don't exacty have a quick answer for.

That would be an attempted custom I did a little while back. And by custom I mean I was messing around with a spare ROC Storm Shadow and Gundam Markers.

I liked the basic idea I had going, but without taking it apart properly there is no way to do the legs properly, and it was too late to do that after it had been marked up. Also while Gundam markers are fine for some detail work, the plastic used for the coat doesn't hold it well.

this was what he looked like when first painted however.

While he was good enough for some distance shots, he no longer as as nice looking close up.

That said, I have a brand new SS still in package (bought on clearance) which I picked up with the specific purpose of remaking what one friend dubbed an Irish Ninja when I put a spare head from my kitbox on it. That concept kind of stuck, seeing I hadn't properly named him yet, so he'll likely stay that way once I make the V2 one later.

That's one of the best customs I've seen so far- like to see some more in the future.

 Wow, thank you for the high praise.

I do intend more, so I hope to live up to the level of expectation.

As I had posted before, I have basically finished the "Red Jackal" for the Hydra Dagger. I was going to hold off until I could post the entire crew for the vehicle, but as my order containing the basic figures I'm using for those 3 haven't arrived yet, I'm posting this now on the 'post these now, they'll arrive in the mail tomorrow' formula.

As we all know the original Anton Nobokov was a straight up Destro figure with a Shadow application on his chest, and then transposed over into Destro later with a disregard to his now conflicted backgrounds.

I wanted to keep the Jackal with something to link that past without being a copy of the Laird, as I already have the Destro for my G.I.Cobra force, and I felt it needed to be different. Thus this was the result:
Image

Not as imaginative as I had hoped, and I really had not planned to continue to use the IceStorm main body, but as the colours flowed well it just happened. The use of the classic Destro gloves was something that came to mind and quickly went from "Oh that should be quick and easy" to "Why did I try this" rather fast. The connectors on the two arm molds are completely different and ideally I should have dremeled the posts down. However as I don't own one, I just rammed them on. The ROC Destro head was a simple way to get around the fact that he need to have that 'connection' without looking identical to my Destro. The neck-brace from a Doctor Rex helped alter it a bit more. As the original figure mold has two small holes for mounting the collar or hood piece, I was going to fill them, but when routing around my bit box, I found the backpack of Pilot Destro, and found the hoses would fit nicely, and felt it would go well his backstory of being "rebuilt" by the Baron.

Thus while based of the same original hopefully this Anton "Red Jackal" Nobokov is different enough from James "Destro" McCullen currently on my shelf, to not bother me having both on display near each other.

As for what is in the pipeline for later.... I'll end with this.

There was a very special package in the post today. And with that, The Hyena Dagger now has it's crew.
Image

These are just with my camera that only focuses when it want to, so these are the best for now, will try to have better ones for the archives later.

Image
The complete Crew is as shown.
Image
Red Jackal as previously mentioned is made mostly from a ROC Ice Storm figure, head from a ROC Destro, gloves from a 25th Destro, the backpack from 25th Pilot Destro, neck-brace from ROC Rex, and a spare pair of googles.
Image
The cockpit support staff are POC Destros, with heads and helmets from the ROC MARS preview figures.
Image
The Gunner is also a POC Destro w/jacket and a head from Frostbite.

Image

Considering the history for the Jackal, and as I already had the idea in mind for that figure, the selection of the POC Arctic Destro with elements from the movie MARS troopers for the crew figures seemed like a natural extension in my mind.

I may do a little bit more tinkering (Gunner while having RS markings on the jacket pockets, is still needing a skull/crossbone logo but there aren't many clear places for it) with them still, but the basic project is finished. I hope you guys enjoy the results.
