Mine too, and it was re-sprayed and re-badged to look like a Mongoose Californian*. Which was meant to be a nice gesture on my parents' part - and in retrospect it was - but at the time it really rubbed salt into the wound when watching my mates bunny-hopping around on their Burners.

I think a lot of kids would still dig Big Trak; I'm certain my nephew would, as he loves playing with my old toys (he even has designs on my AF3, which must be even old than Big Trak). Just a few months ago he asked 'uncle Mikey, what did Bumblebee look like in the olden days?' :D Put it this way, when I worked at Model Zone we got those RoboSapians in at Christmas, and trust me, after 10 minutes you were bored with it. I really think if you would have stuck a Big Trak next to RoboSapian most kids would still have chosen Big Trak.

Hey, if it's a success maybe we may even see a return of the original MB Big Foot?

Me, too. A mate's mum gave me his old one when some toerag nicked my Falcon Pro. Compared to the Falcon it was like riding an old Victorian bedstead.

I had a Starbird. Dropped it! I can remember my Dad buying a second hand MB Computer Battleships. I loved it! I have just picked up a electronic battleship from a charity shop and am going to gauge Little Humby's response this weekend.
He obviously loves :AFLogo: and Star Wars. I got him a Jamie and the Magic Torch DVD which he loves but at Christmas we sat down to watch another old favourite of mine The Box of Delights with Patrick Troughton. AFter 10 mins he got up and went to do something else whilst telling his Mum "thats 10 minutes of my life I won't get back!" He's only 8!

I still have two! One may part. It's as good as complete and in full working order.

I don't think all the bits & bobs in the box pictured all belong to the toy. The resemblance with StarWars is really cool: logos, design of vehicle, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if this vehicle was designed by somebody also working for Lucas. The one that I have 'spare' is missing the top gun only, see picture, but other than that in very good condition regarding the fact it is over 30 years old!

Me three, I swear those things were made out of scaffolding poles.

Big Trak was one of my faves as a kid. Might get the oldest nephew one for Chrimbo...

What's that X-Wing crossed with a Colonial Viper thing on that photo Jaye?

That looks like one of the best knock-off's ever!
