We never did get Swoop in the UK back in the 80's.

i must admit i do rather like the new transformers available in all good retailers, the twin packs are quite funky, i brought one the other week.

I am thinking of getting some new ones myself when I can.


I won one today on e-bay for £3.04 that includes postage in the price it's a repaint of Mirage from the Beast Machines series pics will follow soon.

I remember BM Mirage as the toy that was going to be repainted as a BM incarnation of the G1 Autobot Devcon (then the idea was scrapped and he recovered his old form in the Wreckers #2 comic)

I don't know who Devcon is DA is he a foreign exclusive?

Nope, he's a non-toy character who appeared in a single episode of the TV series helping Smokescreen. He later appears in the Wreckers comics and doesn't like the team to have thiefs like Packrat (blue Rattrap repaint) or Decepticons like Cyclonus and Skywarp.

I am rubbing my hands in anticipation I just ordered this beauty I am also finally finishing off my Marvel Uk tpb collection with Time Wars.

Acid Storm began as a generic Seeker cameo in the TV series, but just like Sunstorm was named as a toy. Sadly, unlike Sunstorm, he didn't get any story to make him become a full character.
Though there's a good side; you have charte blanche to characterize him (after all this time, I haven't decided yet how to characterize mine).
