Re: Just won my first Roboskull!
I've paid various prices for mine generally around the £40 area, I did pay £110 for boxed one in a job lot with a boxed triad fighter and a boxed sealion which I thought was a great score, but my eBay tactics of stay the highest bidder from the start was how you say...thick, I was a collecting newbie at the time.

Re: Just won my first Roboskull!
Just sniped another one; now this one looks interesting, as it comes with
so I'm guessing it must be the later issue. Looking at the pic for this one it appears to be pretty mint and doesn't have any stickers applied which leads me to think that maybe it was simply removed from box, put together, and not used. This one is missing the chin guns and boosters, but has the red covers and wing guns, so combined with the other one I won I should be able to make a complete example. Now, all I need is one of those repro sticker sets and I'm golden.
Add that to the AF base for £5.50 and the parts lot for the same for £1.20, I have quite possibly had my best day ever for AF acquisitions.
And I owe it all the the Barons academy of sniping
.
(In the voice of Matt Berry as Douglas Reynholm) I am beholden to you, sir.

Yeah that was the one, finished just after 11pm; I wasn't going to bother then saw it was nearly finished and the price hadn't moved so just thought 'try my luck, you never know'.
Re: Just won my first Roboskull!
What's the average 'going rate' for a complete Roboskull in decent nick then? I'm not fussed about keeping mine (due to other commitments and pressures) so might flirt with eBay. Surplus to my current collection, I've also got about 15 Shadows, 2-3 shadowtraks, Skeletrons, Krakens, loads of weapons, the green AF base and a couple MOCs Shads kicking around too.
Before I do some less lazy research, do you guys reckon I'd get a few quid for all that to make it worthwhile?
Cheers, Steve

Roboskull's have been known to hit the £70 mark. That was prior to the Joecon excitement.
