Why is it that I never find anything interesting at Boot Fairs. Does the ATAT have its bulb and chin gun cover? I'll give £20 and a half eaten easter egg too?

You seem to have a supernatural ability to find these bloody bargains, I'm going to my room to cry.

The only things I got at today's cat boot sale were a vintage handbag and some 78rpm records. Toys, in all forms save Power Rangers and Bratz, were sadly lacking.

That AT-AT is a classic car boot find and I don't suppose those Britains Space figures turn up that often. Car Boots are always good fun and there's that wonderful feeling of anticipation as you pay your entry fee and go in. How early do you get up to get these bargains Shanyboy?

Thought I'd add some pictures of the bits I found at a local car boot yesterday.

I was surprised to find the Chap Mei fighter - nice condition, but missing one wing tip missile (the one there also has a broken fin) and one underwing missile. The figure in it is mine - I was trying it out for fit with Palitoy Action Force. Not sure which force should get this yet - perhaps Q-Force as it's a carrier jet. I was glad to come across it anyway.

If any one can help identify the make of the Stormtrooper that would be great - he's a weird thing, but couldn't not buy him for £1!

I think I had Thunderbird 2 in mind after T'Shot's work on his diecast one. This is obviously from the recentish film, which I've never seen, but this is a really nice quality toy by Bandai. Makes sounds and engines light up and comes with the three vehicles from the pods below. Haven't worked out how the four legs stay in the down position, so if anyone has one and knows, drop me a line.

Sorry for jumping on your thread Shaunyboy, but thought this was good place to share these finds

Feel free Red Baron. I love to see people's Cat Boot hauls! Superb Chap Mei fighter, I love that! Looking forward to seeing your custom efforts on it.
I don't go early to car boot sales, I have a zen like approach to them. If it was meant to be that I find something, then it was meant to be! Although having said that if I ever turned up to a boot sale and saw a smug looking bloke walking out with a Z Force base poking out of his carrier bag I may have to set fire to myself.
