your right, its sort of like the RED SHADOWS.

MANY PEOPLE didnt know about the red shadow or barely knew much about them ( LIKE ME ) until DDP did them. Then I discovered the Red Shadows and well , here I am.

many people didnt know who was SEI-TIN ( SATAN ) until DDP did him, now many many people do.

What DDP did wrong with SEI-TIN though was to kill him/ and make him not an equal to SS and SE. Thats one of the things I didnt like in the Marvel run, SE and SS had no one as an equal, which was a problem when SS became a JOE. and DDP sort of did this with Sei-tin .

SLice and Dice, back when they were introduced into the Marvel series, should have been created as equals, to be foils to them but Larry wrote them as weaker and not as skilled sadly

then DDP did it with Sei-tin , having him defeated by SE .

And you are right, Jamar. Both Slice and Sei-Tin (not so sure about Dice, but since he's Slice's sidekick...) had potential. I remember when Slice is fighting :snakeeyes: and tells him that he has the advantage because is younger, but later stories, even though showing him as clever, never allowed him to have the upper hand again. I guess the reason why Sei-Tin suffered a similar fate was the fact that had returned to at the time, so they didn't want to put someone else between the original ninjas, but that would be double standard; the Joes still had Kamakura.
