Blood for the Baron!

If you had kept the Death Star Droid on his Trilogo Card you would certainly be well on your way to a Flagg. They can go for a pretty penny.

I'd keep them Rene, if you ever did get rid of them guaranteed you'd regret it some time along the line, besides if you ever do decide start a collection you've got a nice head start.


Strange to think that, despite considering myself a massive Star Wars fan & buying the toys for more years than I care to remember, I've never owned a vintage Tie fighter of any type or description...

The original Tie Fighters are strangely rare in the UK (until the late 90s brought over a flood from the US when the market took off). I think its because Palitoy never them and they were only ever imported across under the much later Bi-logo packaging towards the end of the line. I only ever knew one person that owned one as a kid but the TIE Interceptors were far more common.

I never know that OBD, that would explain why I rarely see any @ toy fairs.. The Tie interceptors gotta be my fave of the Imperial fighter craft. I do own the re-tooled Tie fighter Hasbro re-released back in the 90's, it's nice but not the same as having a vintage one complete with badly applied stickers.

I gave away most of my SW figures when I was younger and it kills me now. Mostly because of who gave them to me, but also because I really loved those figures. Them and the Action Men were my childhood sandpit pals.

Yeah, it's more about the memories the toys themselves hold than monetary value with things like this.
Like with my 1st ever Star Wars figure, its tatty & in beat up condition, but I'll never part with him because of the sentimental value.

Lost items with emotional value to it can never really be replaced,

Amen to that Eddie. Unfortunatly I'm a sook, so everything is emotional My first SW figure was Kenobi, still got him thankfully.

That's a good collection and in good condition most of mine was broken or taken by other kids.
