Agree with you Bill I would love my Den to look like that too! I think we all probably dream of some place with a basement to do that!
Been looking at the Custom Blade and Hunter (again) and they are truely brilliant too!

Nice to see it all out in the open, couple of velvet ropes and you`d be sorted

The filecard display method behind the figures is clever, better than keeping them in a box.
Right....now I've had time to calm down a bit. I think you have hit the nail on the head there Scoobs. I'm really impressed by most people's collection pics, but every now and then I see something like this. It's very close to what I hope to achieve with my own collection someday too. It's certainly a lot of stuff, but it doesn't look over the top in its scale.
I like the filecard display as well. as Scooby said it's really clever. Like most appealing art forms it's a good idea executed well.
Damn good to have you on board fella.

Very nice.
You are lucky to have the space to properly display it all and I like the way you have all the 'paperwork' displayed too.
One day I wish to have a display like that too.

Good to hear everybody likes the collection. I always wanted to display it properly, so it was neat and as organized as possible. I know there are a lot of people with many more items in their collection than I have, but have everything in disarray. It just doesn't suit me as well as having some level of organization. I do have some space constraints (the room is smaller than it looks in the pictures), but that helps keep the mass of plastic in check.
I used to have a few hundred 25th anniversary figures (both loose and MOC) and ended up selling almost all of them because did not have the space with all of the vintage (and I like the vintage better). I just recycled the funds into some more rare vintage pieces.
I also am a big Star Wars fan, and I used to have a lot of those figures too. I ended up keeping a much smaller amount, but kept a lot of the customs. The crown jewel of the Star Wars collection is a scale-model diorama of the Mos Eisley Cantina that took me 18 months to build. I will see if I can get some pictures of it up today or this weekend.
EDIT: Here's the link for the Mos Eisley Cantina:
