A friend in Wigan had the old batmobile, penguin and I think the Joker's car as well as the submersible Bond car. Another one had the General Lee.

i had a Dukes of Hazzard playset. it came with a card base and then card buildings, the police station, cooter's garage and the dukes' house and something else - prolly Boss Hogg's place. it also included Roscoe's cop car (which is now missing the light bar), Boss' car, Daisy's jeep, Cooter's pick-up and natch, the General Lee... the car's are all Matchbox/Hot Wheels sized... still got the cars, but not the base and buildings.

Speaking of the Dukes... what were those wrist-mounted wind up cars called? I had the General Lee but never found the police car.

I've got the police car, but not the General.

I think they were "wrist racers", or "wrist rockets".

Dont get me started on the Dukes. I've got a colelction of 1/18th scale General Lees (some signed), a full set of the Mego figures (with most variants too) signed pictures, original 1/50th scale cars MOC, arghhhhhhh - I'm a Dukes-o-Holic!!!

Not got the Scalextric yet though, or that cool playset you speak of.

yeah they were wrist racers - it was all I wanted one christmas, think I must have been affected by the adverts or something but I got it and wound it up too much on my first or second go and broke it... remember being quite disappointed at the size of it on my wrist as well, think id planned to where it wherever I went like a watch...

I have the slot car set in the loft. Its quality a figure of eight track complete with jump. The General Lee clears the jump easily but the Police Car stuggles at the best of times :-D . At the London collectormania the other week they had a load of Dukes figures all on their cards. They look quite cool and unique.

i had a Knight Rider Scalextric set and a Knight Rider play set where it was a barn with a ramp attached. the car had these little rods sticking out the front wheels and a friction engine so when it was revved up and went in the barn the rods went on these ickle ledges and it tipped the car up on to the rear wheels to 'crash' out the doors and knock over some barrels and crates. it could also drive off the ramp or if you aimed it right it went up on to the left wheels only.

it was a bit cack and boring after ten minutes even for a seven year old.

I seem to remember having a largish general lee with a pull cord on the back and you ran it into the wall or something and bits fell off and looked damaged... definately had the car but my mind might be playing tricks on me with the dukes of hazard connection - sure it was orange though...
