im gonna have to re-read them, been years since i have & maybe if i do i might get why so many people like craig!
i still remember bond being a charmer & a real ladies man (which craig is not) but maybe i remember wrong! the whole "you just tickled my balls" line just ruined it for me, so many people thought it was funny but to me it was just fuckin stupid.

I think it's just a coincidence, but does this W.W.1 Tommy look a tad like Vinny Jones?

Depends what mood I'm in when it comes to Bond movies...all the actors bring something to the part. Moore's the 1st Bond I ever saw, so he's the guy I always think of, also Live & let Die was the first "grown up" film I can remember seeing as a very young kid...it was the 1st time my folks let me stay up long after my "bed time" to watch the telly, a big land mark event @ the time for me, I was tired @ junior school the next day, it was well worth it.

i remember watching both Connery and Moore as kid, so i don't have a favourite-because-he's-my-first Bond.

Brosnan was the first one i saw on't big screen in TND.

Brosnan
Connery
Dalton
Moore

Lazenby

Craig

Mike Myers as Austin Powers makes a better Bond than Craig. Never watched the films, but i couldn't take him seriously after the press launch thing when he pitched up wearing a bloody life-vest over his suit cuz they got the RM to deliver him in a speed boat.

BOND DOESN'T WEAR PUSSY LIFE-VESTS!

If it'd been me and the Marines said I had to wear one, I'd insist on either wearing it under the jacket or telling the PR wonks I wouldn't do it. Bond laughs in the face of danger. he doesn't wear a sissy life-vest!

and he was so crap with his answers. 'who's your ideal Bond girl?' 'oh, I've got my ideal Bond girl.'

yeah? AND?!

Man, if i was cast i would've been like 'well, you know they already used Famke, Denise and Halle, so I'd probably have to say Jennifer Garner from Alias.' *turns to EON wonks* 'hey, guys, can we make this into an Alias cross-over?' ;)

i would've been giving them real sound-bite answers as a fan who's now living the dream, y'know? he seemed like he didn't even wanna be there. i woulda been buzzing about driving the Aston, shooting the Valther and snogging the hot girls and everything. playing a British Icon. 'As an actor, there's only three parts I'd wanna play. A Jedi, Bond and the Doctor. One's out, I'm doing one. When's Tennant leave?'

Very nice and love the Aussie soldier.

Bond, hmmmm, James Bond. All are good IMHO, Craig is very good as a Flemming Bond. Brosnan's biggest lemon was Tomorrow never dies. It was OK, bar the obvious but lacked. Connery was great as was Moore and even Lazenby. In the end I would have to agree with TKW, depends on mood.

You. Need. Help.

I think it's traditional to not like the look of the forthcoming doctor, Ross. I thought Tennant looked like a right geek when he popped his mug up at the end of season one, that there was no way he could top Eccleston. I'll wait and hold judgement until I've actually seen his work.
