You're going to hate me for this, but even though this has been one of the rainiest summers Ohio has had in a long time, I still have a tan! The rain here is warm in summer. We don't have that nice, cool, temperate climate like you lads have!

Ahh, crap! I missed your question. Believe it or not, the "50 Flavors of Ice Cream" is old news. We have about 1000 now! (I'm not kidding you!) The U.S. is the land of consumerism. We have 50, 000 flavors of coffee, action figures, magazines, etc. etc. I'm amazed we can make any choices at all!

I'm really in two minds about it, the feel of the stories is so different from the Battle stuff I just don't know if it would work. It might be an idea to focus on a Marvel UK site instead, although I've heard they get funny about people hosting Transformers scans.

Anyway man, I could be mistaken but it seems you already have a set, if you have the 50 weekly issues, 15 monthlies (or European Missions) and the 5 annuals then that's it, the five specials were pure reprint material.

The 2 TF appearances are pretty poor, one is a competition result, where the MUK team created a storyline with a cliffhanger, and whoever drew the best ending (BOOM!) got published, that and a road safety lecture, no I'm not kidding, Lady Jaye nearly mows down some kids on her Silver Mirage and Flint gives them a ride in his Dragonfly. It's total cheese.

The other one was a desperate attempt to bridge the gap when some marketing dickhead decided to change the name from Action Force to GI Joe. It's actually available online at http://www.yojoe.com/international/unit ... omic.shtml

One of the best things about charley's war was the artwork. It kicks the arse of any other strip on this basis alone.

Action Force annual 1989 (no 1988) contained US reprints "The Old Switcheroo" and "Words Of Honour" and UK text story "Havoc In The Outback!".

Action Force annual 1990 contained US reprints "Trade Offs" and "My Dinner With Serpentor" (origin?) and UK text story "Rogue Delta".

GI Joe - The Action Force annual 1991 contained US reprint "Mexican Holiday", UK story "Piece Of The Action" and UK text story "Action Of The Tiger!"

GI Joe annual 1992 contained US reprint "Forced Play" UK story "Hai Finance!" and UK text story "Thunder In The Mountains".

"My Dinner With Serpentor" was originally printed in G.I. Joe Yearbook #4 (Marvel).
