got the head unpainted (the painted version was terrible!) once i'd painted the face i added the mask then tore away the mouthpart, hopefully it looks like it was covering his face but is all torn away?

Well, Skeletor, a nose-less character from MOTU, covered his nose-holes when Stinkor (another MOTU chara with obvious powers) was near, but this Beachhead doesn't even have holes.
On second thought, Beachhead doesn't use deodorant, so...
