Maybe we should ask about the Gi Joe toy release schedule for the UK - ask which toys are going to be released here? Ive seen some odd ones cropping up lately...

Might be a bit of a pleaser for them.

Apparently the UK releases won't be available anywhere else.

But I was asking about the re-release of a Joe figure, Hasbro could release AM as a Joe (though No Face can't be labeled as :cobra: so easily). Same with MASK questions; MASK is part of the Joes now, so it would be good to know (and knowing is half the battle) if there will be more MASK and VENOM charas released as part of G.I. Joe and :cobra: .

No this was the G.I. Joe Club's decision to use those characters.

A better question would be...
Since G.I. Joe is now an international entity (see RoC movie) could we see some named characters from Action Force (an example: Stakeout, Sparrowhawk, Quarrel, Wheels, etc) to show up later on the G.I. Joe team?

Sorry, DA, looks like I misunderstood you.

Looks like I was misinformed about the UK toyline, seems more like the range won't be released at all.

One question I'd like to submit is something to keep the proposed convention alive in their minds. They were clearly taken with the idea in our last Q&A, if we can coax another "awesome!" or similar out of them I think we'll have gained a footing. As this is such a golden opportunity to connect, I've always tried to mix questions of interest along with our announcements of intent.

So with that in mind, I suggets something like.

"We are working hard to host the first UK GI Joe convention, on schedule for September 2010. We have many strong ideas but would greatly value any input you could provide. Do you have any suggestions or advice, please?"

I want something along those lines, but less clunky and with an angle that will entice them. Brainstorm, people!

"could you possibly give me some information about who to contact and how to contact them about any possible hasbro involvement?"

We've done similar things before. They generally give us "not my department, mate" and leave it at that.

I suppose really I'm fishing for another quote of support which we can bank on further down the road.
