all of it was cool at the end of the day, i'm seriously considering collecting these retro electronic games.

Should be able to pick it up cheap from somewhere like TK Maxx (that's where I got mine, anyway)

The rarer games go for around 50 quid, which makes the hobby pretty affordable.

it does doesn't it, i've looking at prices the last few days i wouldn't want to many just the ones i had as a kid.

They were distributed by Palitoy, but were actually a Tomy product. One of the original marketing managers for Action Force had the pleasure of 'anglicising' the instructions. Although I've never found one, I've been told to keep an eye out for 'Gobbler' as the instructions leave much to the imagination.

Palitoy done some great extensive advertising for Pocketeers during the late 70's, with many ads focusing on a particular new release. There were a good 10 or so different ads, which is nuts when you think of the proportion of other advertising of other products in their range at the time. They're very collectable, and although I don't actively collect them, I've seen there's a good hardcore with ebay prices rocketing near end of auctions, especially packaged ones.
