I've got no problem with paying for P&P so long as the item is well packed, and the charge realistically reflects the time and effort, the materials involved, and the actual cost of postage.
Sellers who charge excessive P&P just deter me from bidding, and these days, for almost all auctions, I include the P&P in my consideration of how much I will bid.
