no parts have been created just yet but we would of course show pics and have pics before we would produce that many

No, I mean of the figure you plan to use for the mold the cobra trooper one and the shad head, just so we can visualise in our heads how they would go together?

Hello,

I had to vote no too, at $250 for a set it's just way to far out of my price range. I would be inturested if they were cheaper say closer to $30 for three figures. What about having just a bunch of Red Shadow Trooper heads produced that we could attach to any 25th anniversary figure we like?

Regards

Steve D is already doing that! contact him hes got great heads

as for figures being 10 dollars a peice, well we would have order a whole lot, maybe triple of what I said, instead of 1000 being produced we would have to say 3-4000

the collectors club had over 4000 produced of the vipers in the CST box set though and they still charged $250 dollars for the set, so I dont know if its possible.

But this is good info, lets me know the feasibility of doing this kind of thing

keep voting and keep letting me hear your thoughts thank you guys

okies I'm new here just signed up but I posted athread over at Hisstank. in order to do somthing like this we would need to make our own European or UK joe collector club .that way we can actualy get the molds from hasbro for the figures we want to use in any sort or collectors set / of cousre hasbro has to get a mark up on them but we'd have to contact them first or the founders of the US and Canadian Joe clubs and see how they do it .
Remember the sets they make are repaints esentialy of pre-exsiting figures or parts swaps .
to do a Red shadow set will be tricky as for the most part you need to scuplt things likes heads and find bodies sutible.now i'm not saying thins is impossible but .what i'm sugesting is that we form a joe collectors club for the UK and europe market .this mean we will need to do reserch into numbers

btw the set you sugested making from trooper bodies would that be 25th style or classic ARAH bodies ?
also guys its $250 that about £150 why are ye saying this is to much ? think about it if this was official convention set it would still cost ye the same amount . ok we are talking a un-official set here but why can't we ask hasbro or the founders here at BFTB to have these as the sites first official colletors set ? is that possible ?

Welcome to the boards! good to have you here!

Okay so first the figure ( if you look at the link I posted ) would be RAH old sculpt bodies , not that I have anything agaist the new stuff but my contacts only have access to the hasbro molds of the old RAH type construction

Second to have an official UK collectors club you will have to pay licensing fees. and This would have to be passed onto the members.

The parts are there to make a nice RED SHADOW Set

RED LASER EASY
BLACK MAJOR EASY
RED SHADOW troopers all we need is a head sculpt , Steve D does a great job but having hasbro doing may mean making MOLDS of the head which would make it more expensive

We would be looking at the SAME exact price range that the collectors club has and so far the poll is showing that the support isnt there at the moment. NOT GIVING UP though.

BEST BET is to really support the club and VOICE our opinions loudly and constantly EVERYWHERE

BUY THE COMIC is one way to do this.

Keep the thoughts coming, its not a matter if we can or CANT do it, I know we can , its a matter if people are willing to pay the same prices that the collectors club charges. Right now people are saying no.

why do you think Black Major's easy? the easiest are Red Laser and Red Jackal, surely?
