i prefer Scarlett, but i wouldn't say no to Baroness...

I didn't like the power suit aspect, can't wait for the sequel, 'you may call me the commander', fantastic

The nano-mite angle to keep people loyal to the Commander does seem to be a bit too much but I like how it changes Zartan.

it made me wonder if Beattie had been reading BAF comics...

I think the nano-mite angle was relied upon way too much, it pretty much was the excuse for everything in the film but it was cool they actually put it too good use and changed Zartan...

The nano-mites shouldn't be the reason for the loyalty, it should have been pure Cobra fanaticism on the troops part, but I guess that may come in the sequel, who knows...

I can't believe they shyed away from any Nazi, KKK comparisons with Cobra, they're supposed to be stormtroopers of death right? I mean, they can't turn around and say "it's for kids too, we can't have that" because it had some pretty gruesome bits in it, why not go all the way??

I wouldn't compare them to the kkk they had at least 2 black operatives in Cobra and some of asian descent. Ok I'm counting Burnout who is a dreadnok but still Cobra affiliated.

GI Joe was, is and will be, stuff for yanks. This movies will probably do excellent in the States, but in the rest of the world it will prolly do so so. With three quarters of the world sick & tired of American globalism, nowadays are not really the perfect time for "a real American Hero".
