I think I might have to find some toy fairs. I am not after MOC at all to be honest. I like to handle them and I let my son play all my AF. Some small parts are kept safe but he is very respectful of it all so I have no worries.
Thats why I don't see any point in paying £20+ for a loose Minesweeper even though its one of my big wants. I can see the point of having quite a few :inf: or :shadow: but past say one Minesweeper for display and one in MOC I can't see why you would have more than 2 of the Minesweeper.
Between us though me and my son have a very good Vintage and Modern Star Wars collection but it is all loose apart from a boxed Death Star.

Seeing as how the football jokes has already been done Image, I'll just be straight. The main goals were to crack on with my Star Wars Vehicle collecting and get a couple of Action Force vehicles and resist the temptation to start a Transformers collection.

Same here Eddie, but my focus is up to series 3 and not too fused about series 1 mind you. I have 16 to go now, then on to vehicles.

I'm aiming to get a small team of each of :zforce: :sas: :qforce: :space: :enemy: for my son to play with. Roughly 3 to 4 figures and a vehicle per :AFLogo: team, more in the :enemy: for balance. The plan is to get them sent to Granny's house in England so she can bring them over for his birthday*.

:zforce: = jeep + :wheels:, :skip:, :tracker: and :breaker:
:sas: = boat patrol + :stake:, :eagle2: , :quick: , (possibly hawk & :blades: )
:qforce: = swordfish, :levi:, :phones:, :shark:
:space: = cosmic cruiser + :hotjets: , :skyraider:, :kiwi:, :hawkwind:
:enemy: = :baron: , :major: , 2 x shadowtrak + :vulture:, exterminator + :laser:, 6 x :shadow:

I've got no idea how hard some of them are to get, or how daft the prices are for some, but it will be fun finding out.

*ok, fair enough, more likely graduation by the time I'm done.

Never start collecting old Transformers unless,
a) your'e lucky, it can take ages to complete a toy 'cause of all the small bits that go missing, unless..
b) except, if your'e in a hurry to complete a piece, e-Bays handy & easier but makes it very expensive!
c) too many knock-offs & unofficial reproductions/copies of rare vintage stuff available online, it gets confusing.
d) it can take over your life

But don't let me put you off :-D

I think all mine are do-able... Will probably have to spend big on a few of them... Loose complete (non yellowed) Stormshadow and complete '85 Heavy Metal with mic are the challenges.

Oh, forgot my number one Grail.

MOC '85 Snow Serpent (either AF or GI Joe packaging - I'd prefer AF)

First figure I ever got
