Technically, wasn't organisation As a whole actually just called "the enemy" in the toys range?

I'm not referring to the toys when I said that Steve. Anyway this is distracting from being a thread on my completed Red Laser.

Sorry Ironblood - it's just one of them things that popped into my head ages ago and you just brought it back to the front of what passes as my mind - the baddies were always referred to as The Enemy, and the :shadow: :shadow: :shadow: :shadow: 's were the Red Shadows. It was even "Baron Ironblood and his Red Shadows". We just seem to refer to the whole Enemy as "The Red Shadows". Largely because it sounds cooler !!

Ironblood,

I actually don't mind this custom!

Though I'm no fan at all of modern google-legged figures, I can appreciate where you're going with this and I think it works well. Good stuff.

On a side note, and I'm not trying to have a pop here, I'm just offering positive criticism.

Have you thought about getting a sheet of plain coloured cardboard to use as a background in your photos?

I think one of the main reasons that I instantly turn off from your customs is that all I ever think is 'man, that guy's kitchen is minging' all I see is blue paint on the side of the toaster, loads of crumbs and a hob that hasn't been cleaned for decades. Others have alluded to it in posts before....

I think if you had a background it would help people focus on your customs rather than your kitchen. Just my opinion of course, but trying to help...

Due to the cruddiness of my flat Paul the kitchen is the only well lit area but yeah a backdrop would be better. And thanks for the compliments. :-D

I cant believe I'm about to say this in public, but I actually QUITE LIKE some of the 25th figures. Despite what I may have said before. The ones I have problems with are the ones where they clearly look too leggy, and the waist joint at the chest height is too apparent. Figs like Wild Bill, where he has a vest on, or even female figs, where it just makes them look to have a good womanly shape, I quite like. Basically, anything that disguises the weird arcticulation (there, I said it in public - almost feels like a weight has been lifted).

By that token I like this guy Ironblood - 25th articulation, but vest on torso covers the bit that normally puts me off them. Good going. Working on a Red Laser myself at the mo, as part of a bigger project, but he's very different to your chap here!
