Attack of the Phantom? Are you talking about The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones or something else? :-?

Sorta something else. It was the first publicly available re-edit of the prequels.

It pretty much spawned fanedit.org. Bloody good watching too.

I should tell Panda (a friend who is a huge Star Wars fan). However, I'm pretty sure that when I tell him, he will reply that he already knew about it.
Is there any website where can I download it from?

fanedit.org should have links ;) While you are there check out "Star Wars revisited". Bloody incredible bit of editing.

I gotta say I like the new trilogy.

In Phantom the child Anakin does a great performance and Liam Neeson stands as best Jedi ever. No-one can knock Darth Maul for cool either. I also state that Ewan mcGregor did a superb job of threading his character to match that of Alec Guinness. I think the reason that most people dislike it is that they miss the joke, being the anticlimax. Instead of his usual intergalactic battle extraordinaire, he gave us a bunch of walking frogs throwing stones at some spindly robots in a field. Makes me chuckle just to think of it.

Attack is flawless, hits its stride within five seconds and the pace doesn't let up for a moment. The finale had me out of my seat in the theatre! My sole criticism is that Anakin has zero family resemblance to Luke.

OK, Revenge annoys me, I find Anakin's motivations somewhat thin. He wants to save the woman he loves from dying (as per his hitherto-unseen visions), so he chooses to slaughter younglings. What? How does that track? It's disappointing as Lucas had all of the elements in place with the secret marriage. All that he needed would have been for the marriage to be discovered, say by Amidala's pregnancy, Anakin would have then been booted out of the Jedi Order and publically ostracised. Keep having him being manipulated by Palpatine and thread in some anger over his mother's death (even use Qui Gon's choice to leave her to die) and make his journey to the dark side solely a revenge trip. I'd buy that a lot more. Otherwise it's great.

But I wouldn't mind checking out the fanedits though!

Let's just be clear, Clone Wars is the older cartoon and The Clone Wars is the CGI movie and series, right? I like both but the CGI show definitely has the edge. I admit that I cheered in the R2 episode when he battled his doppelganger...

So will Ahsoka survive?

I'd agree with most of that. TPM is my favourite as far as stories go. Its not fast paced but it tells it well. I do wish the deleted scenes of Anakin fighting with Greedo and the Old woman talking about the storm coming, had been left in. They were really important imho.

Attack of the clones was pretty good too, but the jokes were a bit drwan, pacing a bit laboured. ROTS you are bang on the money, Baron. The fall to the dark side way way to easy and too quick. I got the feeling GL just wanted to get on with it.

Yeah TCW is the modern CGI and CW is the old series. I'm pretty sue I know what happens to Ahsoka. Tho I could be wrong.

i think Anakin killed the younglings because he craved the ultimate power of preventing death and Palps told him he need to embrace the way of the Dark Side to be able to save Padme.

the thing that gets me is that if he'd kept his head screwed on and listened to Mace, Padme wouldn't have died because he wouldn't have gone to the Senate office and fallen.

he's largely undone by his arrogance and his ego.

i loved ROTS. Best Lightsabre Fight EVAH TM in that film.

i just hate how cheaply Kit Fisto and the other three Jedi go out in Palps' office...

Kit Fisto deserved to die for stealing Fisto's name (that's why the Fisto 2002 fig had to be renamed Battle Fist)
