ive got king of the rocket men and radar men from the moon (think that was named something else for a while with rocket in the title), love both of those, esp radar men from the moon...

Oh possibly getting my name's confused, I'm on about the B&W show, he had a rocket pack with a control panel on his chest. As I recall he wore a trilby whihc didn't fall off even when he was flying...

No, it was a B&W weekly show, on weekdays around 6, some sort of schedule as the Munsters.

I just checked the youtube links and he's wearing a space helmet in all of those. I swear he had it hidden under his blazer and he used to wear his trilby even when flying at supersonic speeds. I'm probably getting mixed up.

the rocketeer was, indeed, from 1991 with Jennifer Connelly and with Timothy Dalton as the villain, Neville Sinclair. it was the first movie i saw at the cinema.
and the episode where they get trapped in the 'Captain Proton' programme is 'Bride of Chaotica!'. the clip in Baron's YT vid is from another episode, 'Night'.

Wasn't Rocketeer an old black and white serial like Buck rogers,Flash Gordon and Crash Gordon? But then in 1991 it was made into a feature length film?
