Take my initial post back! Ross reminded me of THE worst movie of the year...
A whack version of Deadpool and a wimpy Wolverine trying to be the Big Blue Boy Scout...even getting adopted by old people and briefly living on a farm
Hopefully Reynolds can turn the Deadpool film into awesomeness!

Why, are people actually disagreeing with that comment?
If I wasn't a fan of Wolverine/Deadpool/Marvel and knew nothing about any of these things then maybe it would have been just an "enjoyable film".
I guess it's the age-old argument of
Who are these movies being made for?
The core group of people that made it famous and gained it studio interest?
or
The average cinema-goer who knows nothing about the series?
It's Hollywood so I suppose the best we can hope for is some sort of balance...but even with this in mind I still found it a silly film.

Yeah, the Wade Wilson bit had some serious potential but I think Ross was talking about the Street Fighter film with that comment...sorry for poking my nose in
