Such a coup took place in the peaceful state of Duna while an Action Force unit were there training the local army. Although the outside world believed that the unit had been wiped out, they had in fact escaped into the vast desert wastes along with the President and his followers. Over several months they struck back and eventually restored the President to power. During this period the Gibli’s top fighter pilot Major Maddi came close to destroying the Action Force unit but was killed in the final battle. His son, then only a teenager was overcome with hatred for Action Force and, along with the surviving Gibli fighters fled the country. They became mercenaries fighting in Sudan, Somalia, Afghanistan and Iraq... anywhere they could strike against the Western powers they blamed for their defeat in Duna. Eventually Maddi was offered a place in Cobra, where he now holds his father’s rank and commands Cobra operations in desert environments.

I've been working on this figure on and off for a while trying out different parts etc- I posted some pics of him here a while back but I've since given him a Cobra/Gibli emblem (and lost/accidently deleted the original pics!!) So I thought I'd repost him... thanks for looking....
