This is not an easy task !

I think Paul did an SAS one, but it was for display purposes only, It looked great in the figures hand but I dont think he managed to make it fit the head.

I can't give any advice other than what's been said.

Take your time and be very careful not to melt the plastic.

I've ruined quite a few dremel ends through covering them in melted plastic - from both AF and Joe figures.

Like Andy said, I often just partly hollow out the helmet and put in a hand and it gives the illusion nicely enough.

The only figures that I have that actually fit over the head are the Q Force and Enemy divers as with a fair bit of dremeling they will eventually fit nicely.

The SAS pilots look great with a helmet in their hand....

To continue my sponsored helmet-in-hand photo-athon today, here are some more 'helmets-in-hands'.

All SW, I know, but there's a fair few SW fans on here that might like 'em...

I found specially adequate the :cobracommander: / :baron2: one, since they are supposed to be the same in the Battle comics (unless Red Dawn says the contrary; I don't care so much about the :cobracommander: / :baron: deal, but please say that :destro: and :jackal: are separate guys!)

Matt, I really do have a crap camera! It doesn't work properly and the wife has wanted us to get a new one for a good couple of years.

One thing that I find that helps is to open your pictures up in Microsoft Office Picture Manager [its standard on all XP's]

Use the 'edit pictures' option.

Then 'brightness and contrast' option

Whack the brightness up by about 50 to 90%

And then the contrast up by the same depending on image obviously

It transforms a grainy pic into a really nice shot [most of the time!]

The 'Baron's Helmets' photo above was dark and grainy untill I did that and now its bright and all lovely...

Hope that helps

D'oh! I was afraid to hear that, but couldn't it be negated by Red Dawn? Please, somebody?
