If a bagged set is only $150 I'd get a set. There are about 15 figures in there aren't there, and even though I'm not a big fan of the later articulation, I like the look of this set. With the exchange rate how it is currently, that'd be less than a hundred quid for a nice looking little set of figures.

I guess it's like I was saying yesterday with that bulk lot of figures - we all get put off by 'bigger' prices sometimes, when really, it's an economy of scale. We'd all pay £10 for a figure we want, but start asking folks to pay $150 for 15 figures and it is a lot more money to find for an indulgence, even though the price is better.

It's part of my "drifting under the radar of society/littlest hobo" ways Baron - move money around enough, into different currencies, and eventually it'll disappear. I think that's it anyway, as it certainly seems all of mine has disappeared of late...

I just checked the registration form, and the bagged set for this year's con is indeed $150. It is, however, limited. I can only buy one bagged set for each boxed set that I purchase.....so the most likely scenario is that I will only be able to get one. There is a chance that I can talk other attendees into buying me additional bagged sets, but you can't count on that.

Got to say dan and topson it's very good of you guys to do this. The set may not be red shadows but at least it's the right colour! Hope the conference is good - love to see those 12 inch crimson guards parachuting their way down! I bet there will be an almighty fight at the bottom!

Hi,
Just wondering if there are any of the loose sets still available as I'd be interested in one.

Here's an update:

My boxed set is spoken for by a collector on YoJoe and Steve has dibs on my bagged set.

I would be willing to purchase additional sets for others who want one, but because I will be having to go back through the line, I will miss out on other con activities....so I will want to make a little money on any extra sets I purchase to compensate me for the time spent.

Unfortunately, the club limits me to one bagged set per boxed set purchased, so unless someone steps up and buys a boxed set, I won't be able to pick up any bagged sets.

King Wombat, I do have one friend who has said that he would pick up a bagged set for you based on his box set purchase....but after that I'm tapped unless someone else wants a boxed set.

I am open to picking up the atendee exclusives for anyone as well. However, they haven't announced what they will be or what they will cost yet....so we can either wait and see or do it based on what last years' offerings were.

What sort of thing are the attendee only stuff usually Dan? Single figures? Or is it more Comics and stuff?

Thanks again for arranging all this Dan!
