The Snake Eyes/ Storm Shadow fight reminds me of 'The Long Big Punch UP' sketch from The Fast Show

Re: Battle for the Serpent Stone
That will be because of the Rise of Cobra no doubt GP it still makes me laugh the Serpent Stone makers were told to rename their characters we would still know who they are anyway, unlike in Rise of Cobra where Hawk is dressed like Flint and Ripcord looks like Stalker and Breaker looks like your friendly middle eastern bad guy from 24

bleedin holywood for you
both great watches, there were 2 of the special missions movies. Even when they were fully online, must be at least a year ago, I couldn't see any way to purchase them.
I think, and hope I should add, that I'll be pleasantly surprised with The Rise Of Cobra in the same way as I was when I watched Transformers the first time.

Why, are you expecting Rise of Cobra to be bollocks then as Transformers was imho?Golden Puma wrote:bleedin holywood for you![]()

I did think TF was going to be utter tripe, but I thought it was fairly watchable. ok, it had its fair share of cheese but it could have been alot worse

Re: Battle for the Serpent Stone
If you like 2d characters the Transformers hardly had much personality to them most decepticons looked the same like twisted metal not who they are supposed to be. Bumblebee was meant to be small and weak but a good spy he sticks out like a sore thumb now because of his size. Prowl is NOT and was not a decepticon and frenzy was terrible. Megatron always has a fusion cannon I don't like Beast Wars much also he wasn't The Megatron so doesn't count. The film was far too much about the humans which was very wrong.

Re: Battle for the Serpent Stone
I enjoyed the TF movie...if the film had just of been a pure rehash of the 80's cartoon it'd wouldn't of been so fresh & I'm sure I for one would of felt "seen it all before" disapointed.
We've all grown up with Transformers here I guess, & have set picture of the characters in our minds, same with the upcoming G.I.Joe film, so when you see some one else's take on our beloved hero's you dont care for, its bound to leave you with a bad after taste.
Just ask Ross.
As for it being all about the humans side of the story, that sort of made it for me, after all how could I identify with a alien robot on a emotional level ?..the Decepticons were a true menace in this film more so than ever were in the old T.V. show & the sense of wonder would of been missing if we knew every little detail about the Robots,I mean, We've all seen the Transformation thing a million times before, but the people in the movie haven't..
Still that's just in my opinion..I'm sure many would disagree with me
