Im 21, also a student and have just got back into Action Force. Unlike many of you serious collectors, I have only the battered remains of my AF battalions I played with as a child. I have no interest in the carded items and Im on a quest to get as much Q Force as possible.
Although I have the Battle tank and Headquarters, my fave Palitoy item I own is Skeletron.
As I was a bit young for the UK stuff I have lots of the Hasbro and the jewell of my fleet is the Mobile Command Center!

Hi, my name is Marc de Ruiter, I'm 23 years old and I live in Groningen (Holland).
I started collecting GI Joe about five years ago. I still had all the stuff from my childhood but I wanted more, much more. In fact, I wanted it all!
When I discovered http://www.yojoe.com a whole new world opened up for me, and when I discovered the international archive I learned about Action Force, an intriguing toyline with bizarre and cool variations (from a GI Joe point of view that is).
I'm limiting myself to collecting only the Joe-repaints, but someday might start with the original stuff.
I collect all figures and vehicles loose, but I also want all of the vehicle-boxes because of the nice display they make. I'm not a hardcore MIB-collector but with the beautiful window-boxes in the AF-line I don't really have a reason to take them out.
I don't really care for carded figures. I just want one or two carded figures for display-purposes.

I've been a fan of Action Force since 83 when I was bought a Roboskull and a Hyena for Xmas (my mum refused to buy me any more Star Wars toys, saying I had enough of them, so I went for those instead, cos they looked cool, and the Roboskull freaked out my little sister!). I always liked the Red Shadows more than the Action Force teams and collected them, while my brother got a motley collection of Q, SAS and Z force figures. As I entered my teens and needed cash I sold my stuff off at car boot sales, so some of it could well be sat on the shelves of other members of this forum.
Now, first and foremost I'm a D&D fan, and when the new edition came out, what also came out was Spycraft, an espionage game using the same ruleset. I figured it'd be pretty cool to run a campaign based on Action Force, so started collecting the battle action force comics for material, and that led to getting the figures and vehicles again, well the Shadows anyway, not really interested in the good guys, though I might do a couple conversion to bolster my Shadow force. I'm also collecting the later Cobra figures (non-Palitoy range).
I'm not overly fussed about carded/MIB or loose, I bought a MIB Roboskull not that long back, and had a great time putting it together, most fun I'd had in ages. I have a complete collection of carded Red Shadow figures (discounting the Enemy Accessories Pack)

4 Shadowtraks (2 complete, 1 missing a rocket & aerial, 1 missing just an aerial. I have 2 extra guns though, so 1 of them is very well armed!)

3 Hyenas (1 has no stickers on it)
5 Krakens (1 with net & gun, 1 with net, 2 with nothing, 1 carded)
3 Skeletrons
5 Mutons (1 carded, all are complete)
3 Black Major (1 carded)
4 Baron Ironblood (1 carded)
10 Red Shadows (1 Carded)
2 Red Vultures (both with black gloves)
1 Red Wolf
3.5 Red Lasers (all are complete with gun, one is missing his body from the waist down!)
1 Cobra Maggot Tank with WORMS driver (gonna be a Red Shadow custom)
1 GI Joe Bridgelayer Tank with Ton Up driver (gonna be a Z Force custom)
1 CORPS APC (No idea what I'm gonna do with this to be honest)
1 GI Joe Command Centre (is gonna be repainted to be either a Red Shadow or Cobra base)
A LOT of GI Joe Cobra figures including most of the High Command (Commander, Destro, Baroness, Serpentor, Tomax, Xamot, Dr.Mindbender, Firefly, Scrap Iron, Vypra, Wild Weasel) and a load of troops.

Favorite toys include 3 3/4" Gi Joes, Action Force. I have a wide and varied collection of these figures. Benn collecting figs since about 2002 when i decided i would try to get the figures i had back when i was a kid. You know how it is with parents " you dont want these figures anymore do you rod? we'll just give them to a charity shop"
