Amp stand? Back when I were a lad we used a plastic crate. And we were grateful to have that, let me tell you. You young whippersnappers and your fancy gadgets... Mutter grumble.

OK, so. If indeed I DID want to, what do you think is a better idea. A, buy a Z Force battle tank and try like buggery to get Steeler at a good price inclusive, or B, buy the Ultimate battle pack and customise both the MOBAT and HISS into a Z Force Battle Tank and the Crimson HISS into a Shad Hyena, saving the extra for a rainy day when a nice little Steeler might come along on ebay?

Bearing in mind I've priced the UBP and it is usually the cheaper option, save an amazing Battle tank deal on ebay that I haven't seen happen yet. I have 2 Cobra Hyena's already but would like a third Shad one, my crimson Cobra Hyena is a first generation Cobra/AF one and I don't want to customise that and the 25th ones are pretty good IMHO.

It does get worse, I only need the Hyena driver, Cobra Commander V1, NAJ driver and Copperhead to complete my Cobra's now that Firefly is flying over the Pacific.

Problem is, old Mr Baron sir, that people do get prosecuted for using milk crates and an adjustable stand (whilst being Star Trek like technology) is a useful thing to have. Life's hard, eh?
You can see my dilemma and I really do need to invest in a stand for my Guitar Amp before my next gig as well

what would the charge be?! is it the theft of the milk crate, or the danger of falling amps thats the problem?
i normally end up using chairs, stools or beer kegs! been talking to the vocalist from my guitarists other band & between the 2 bands we might rent an industrial unit as a practice space & set it up for gigs.
havent been online for a couple of days, anything interesting happen?

Theft, usually around $2000au fine. All the crates belong to the milk company. Decent stands are about $80 and once its bought, its bought. Tho I'm looking at a new amp too.....

My rehearsal studio costs us about $50 per week, I can understand the idea of an industrial unit.

Well I'm pleased to report I got the £1.49 one legged Shadow yesterday, and thanks to a bit of help from the Baron he can now stand once more. Bit scuffed in the face, but for £1.49 mustn't grummmmble!



He's currently rear gunner on a Shadowtrak.
