with the way prices are going at the minute i wouldnt be surprised if this was soon the standard price for red jackal.
red laser also seems to be going for big money lately.
i cant remember how much i paid for mine but it was no where near this much.
although if you want it and have the money...........

I just find because of price hikes it's cheaper to get an alternative figure and cutomise it or repaint it I had Destro in the 80's he was my favourite figure until some asshead bully of a neighbour took him off me and refused to give him back but since then I have 3 different ones

dont get me started on the red shadows andy, its mainly cause of the shadow bandit that the prices are that high, i have 3 shadows so far and i refuse to pay more than what they are going for at the moment, plus the majority aren't even complete

For what it's worth I don't think this price is too crazy. A few years ago I sold off some of ms jackals and got £30+ for each of them. They attract quite a few bids from the USA if listed right, with him being a destro repaint.
They've actually become more common on eBay in the last few years than they were. Used to be one fir sale every few weeks, now there's usually one there.
