just make sure you get a good primer coat on first!
i'm going to the model shop district 2day (it's 5:30am!) so i will check if they do a good green too!

the more i look @ it....... i think it would look good if all the girders were a dark gun metal dry brushed with a slightly lighter gun metal & just the panels were green!

I had never even considered that the legs were a steel structure !

but now you mention it, it makes perfect sense !

so.........

Steel legs , green top and perhaps wooden ( coloured ) struts and roof ?

It cant be seen in the pic, but I raised the floor by about 1/2 an inch and added some floorboards, because the figures stood too deep in the turret ! only their head and shoulders could be seen ......

dont know if model shops over there stock it, but here you can get plastic sheets that look like the metal plating with grip molded into it, great for custom plating! i wouldnt personally make it look wood, i think it would be armour plated!

Maybe paint your guns a more realistic colour too like black or a metallic silver

this sounds good.
working on a ride for the Black Major and wanted to armour it up.
