Simon did not get canned by IDW he is writting many stories for IDW in the Transformers field too right now
not only that but he is writting the TF comics ( NON IDW ) in the UK as well
Simon Furman isnt going anywhere with IDW or Transformers as a whole.
There is some predescent with Hasbro doing exclusives for the UK market, they did it with BOTCON when they tried it ONE year in the UK. it was a small mini bot but it was an exclusive
but man that sucks that hasbro gave the STAR WARS guys a major problem, thats crazy , doesnt make sense
on a side note we also could do a Convention Exclusive comic as well!

well for me everything is north, so I'll make every bugger come to the south coast
Failing that, Leicester would be good from a heritage angle and it's midlands for everyone within the UK to be able to get to.

I think the UK is the target market, its where ACTION MAN is strongest , isnt it?

yes, although you'd be surprised, a lot of the AM40 went overseas, so there is a bigger following than you might think.

well If not the UK then perhaps France? being its so close to the UK , this way its not too far from the UK but its on mainland europe so other can get to it more easily?
but to be honest I dont here much about france being Action Man , Action Force, GI JOE, or transformers fans LOL
also having it in another country would make it even more expensive to get the UK talent to show up, having it in the UK makes it economically more viable? or I would think it would at least.
maybe not
getting modelers loft in on the action might be a good idea too ( they did the AM40 ) right? if not them, then whoever did them LOL
