These figures were cheap versions of the Matchbox MAC figures, Mac were available in the U.S not sure about Jack tho ....

I remember those Matchbox guys. The Jack are infinitely cheesier..... I think thats why I liked them in the pic.

I had a load of Jacks and Macs as a kid, I knew then that the Jacks were inferior but they had so many cool accessories ! and you could buy them on the market for 29p or thereabouts.
They came in a small box, about the same size as a cigarette packet.

i remember them well, my mum would get me one with my panini football stickers, they would last about an hour untill they fell apart! They should of been called action crap, i always prefered the rambo survival kits or the cop kits you'd get for 99 pence.

what you do to them i had loads when i was a kid they used to last ages

well my toys as a child were tested for full durability. If they weren't made of titanium i would break them, figures in jeep's going off the stairs. Figures melted in the fire, i don't know why i would do it really wish i'd kept them all now, if i could go back i'd kick my ass.

Hey ive still got a MAC mountain command centre(a bit like Tracy Island) with bits of the Jacks too.I did try to sell them 10-15 years ago at a car boot sale but no-one was interested.
In the Command Centre theres a small helo that looks a lot like a fang helo.
