if it sticks to the max punisher story line, then it could be good & would explain why the general audience would think it was sh*t!
anyway, im downloading it so will let you know.
Punisher Max-one of the finest comics ever published.
loved it so much i've been buying the oversized hardcovers. i'd reccomend this book to anyone.
this is Ennis at the top of his game.

so nice to have a punisher storyline totally outside of the marvel heroes universe!
having said that, did you read "the punisher kills marvel" where he blames both heroes & super villains for his families death & kills them all? was kinda cool!
heres my punisher custom:

ross thats class love the blood soaked look.
i prefer Ennis when he plays it straight.
i read punisher kills marvel and the marvel knights series but the humour put me off.
the slave trader arc in max is brutal and i think its my overall favourite storyline.

(couldn't see BaleBat co-existing with the others anyhow...) a third outing for Nolan's Batman is not certain. Nolan's doing an SF movie called 'Inception' next. WB just can't seem to get their sh*t together with the rest. Supposedly they're developing a new GL movie, and there's a Green Arrow flick called 'Supermax' been written, but it's in a holding-pattern.
I've heard Wonder Woman has the green light, but not been keeping up on current events. The JLA movie's was a motion capture idea, akin to A Scanner Darkly. Shelved last I heard.
I hope they continue both Superman and Batman. I'd love to see "The Worlds Finest" at least. That would work well, the nasty Bat's and squeaky clean Supes teaming up because they have to.
As for Punisher, seems that if you make a Punisher film, it'll fail. I'm not sure that any Hulk film has done well either.
Nice Punisher Ross.

yeah, there was a WW movie all set to go with a script by Joss Whedon (Buffy, Angel, Firefly) and then it suddenly got canned.
the last anyone's officially heard about Superman is that WB aren't happy with the way Returns turned out and are thinking of rebooting. Mark Millar, (writer of The Ultimates, Superman: Red Son, Kick Ass and Wanted among others) is supposed to be planning an epic trilogy with a big name director if they can convince WB to do it.

That sucks, I liked Brandon Routh. Not like that.......
Hopefully they'll get Richard Donner Joss doing WW would have been awesome, as long as there weren't any Reavers.

Kate Beckinsale, Sandra Bullock, Mischa Barton and Sarah Michelle Gellar. Apparently. If it was Bullock I'd have not bothered. I put her in my top 10 least liked actors/actresses.

Gellar's too short. Barton's WAY too skinny. Bullock's too old.
i say Beckinsale or Jennifer Garner.
but then agian, I've also said Garner should play Lady Jaye in GI Joe 2 and Black Widow in IM2. the fact i fancy her like crazy may bias me somewhat, though...
