They are fantastic! The red Laser is my favourite, he does have a samuri look about him. How's the starfighter looking? The front section looks great, did you go for all over red?

They look great, but the Shadows look too much like the Crimson Guard base. The artistic difference between the CG mask and the skull mask is huge - it's quite common to see people use those heads for Shadows, but I'm never too sold on them (you're better buying the red shadow head casts and use those) or...

If I was you I'd use the Skull masks for the generic infantry - they are conceptually very unique and make for absolutely wonderful customs, and would be hugely impressive. The other thing is that it ties in very well to the skull and bones ideas, so I'd definately encourage you to go for that.

I was going to say something similar. I like the skull mask but not for Red Laser. Either as BJ says for the Shads themselves or for the Baron. I'm also undecided on whether it should be red or white. Nonetheless, these are excellent work. I don't really know the Crimson Guards so I don't get put off by the similarities.

Ross, please may we have some solo shots of your plane?

I'd be tempted to have the red skull mask, but then with white highlights. I think that would look great!!!

yep i know, my original idea was just to have an army of renegade disillusioned cobra, using pretty much original costumes (cg, vipers, troopers etc) but changing them up a bit & repainting them. then finding this site, i thought f*ck it!
im actually planning on getting a friend of mine who sculpts professionally (marvel + star trek next gen) to sculpt heads to fit these bodies.
one thing i did like about these as they are is it fits in with the whole cobra comander returning to ironblood story line coz maybe he took his loyal guards with him? so i may keep some of these & they can be his elite!

Great idea. Have you seen the conversion packs on broken arrow toys site? Some kits to convert a given figure to, for example, a Red Shadow or Black Major or Ironblood would go down an absolute treat!!!

The Red Shadow would seem to be the best one to test the waters with, for two reasons - firstly because people could buy multiples (and would therefore cover costs better) and the CG base figure is already ideal
