Cheers Andy - interesting site that!
So, '82 to '87. 50-plus figures.
From looking at the pics, I also had a Hordak apparently.
Long since gone to the toy shop in the sky now though...

Really? I rather enjoyed the Hordak Villians especially Modulok. Some of the gimicks blew but I really liked most all of the MOTU figures. I feel that Legends of Greyskull would have turned the line around, I'm glad that at least Turbodactyl, and the other 2 dino vehicles were released

I don't really know much about MOTU.
Are the loose figures vintage, they look it to me.
Out of curiosity, when did MOTU begin? Was it '84?
And how long did they run for?
And roughly how many figures were in the eventual range? Anyone know?
Sorry for the numptie qu's but I only ever had the Man-At-Arms figure!
No problem! You only learn by asking.
Yes, the loose figures are all from the original 80s line. The line started in 1982, and ran for five or six years before switching over to the "New Adventures of HeMan". The total number of figures released in the USA was close to 70, but there were several that were only released in Europe that fetch big bucks today. If you ever come across a cheap Tytus, Megator, Laser Power Skeletor, or Laser Light He Man snatch them up quickly!
Also, it's tough to see in the picture, but one of my favorite MOTU pieces is on the bottom shelf behind the Battle Cat....it's a knock-off from Mexico that is a really poorly made HeMan riding on a white Battle Cat!!!

Good eyes. Those are indeed my childhood Centurions figures....I only ever had the three good guys because the bad guys looked dumb to me as a kid (and they still do!).
I would love to have either of the unproduced second series Centurions figures so if anyone has a lead on any, let me know....same for the Visionaries. There are some really neat catalog pictures out there of a proposed second series that never saw production.
