Ha ha, yes! It was for that very reason that Mark chose NOT to put the Marine's hand in the air when he took the picture
Yep, I do believe Hasbro released a Dress Uniform version of Gung-Ho, but the inspiration here was definately Gaucho; What would he have looked like if made soley from Palitoy parts? Andy1672 and I agreed that the US Marine tattoo hinted towards an earlier career with the American swabbies before he joined

Action Force, hence this version. Yep, would have made a great Wave 1.
By the way,
A Few Good Men (which features this uniform heavilty at the beginning) is on ITV tonight!

PS. Thanks for all the kudos... but Mark did the work

I love the idea of straight limbed versions of the articulated figs. Interesting twist, and well executed SC!
Does anyone remember Mr Bronson out of Grange Hill?

Surely Brian Blessed didn't need a phone? He could have just shouted and your mate woudl have heard?

By coincidence, he was in Auf Weidershen Pet (forgive the spelling if I got it wrong!) the other night... in an episode where the chaps went to see The Empire Strikes Back!

Not a "Hasbro-As-Palitoy" figure this time, more of a "Kenner-As-Palitoy" figure next, although any other "Hasbro-As-Palitoys" I'd love to see. I'm nowhere near ready yet, but I'm working on the prototype Paratrooper (as featured in your catalogue, Dave

... and seen in the AF-3 mini-comic. Sadly I can show you pictures of neither until the archive section is up and running again).
Think I'll have to get Mark to paint it again, his efforts are much better than mine!
