depends whether the scanned cover is close to the size the wip wallpaper...

It's not, but you can resize it easily enough in Photoshop or similar.

yeah, i'll see what i can do tomorrow. i'm going to beddy-bye soon.

oh, and i've got a wip of Destro in progress... i need to finish cleaning up the Cobra logo and then work out how to 'cut off' the edge...

Flint's face vexes me. I tried using the face from the cover, but the skin tones don't match. I've sorted everything else... *grrrr*

I'm working on the Destro one, still... need to clean up more of the logo...

i cheated and used the top of the Cobra logo from Snow Serpent's IP to 'fix' the right side eye and cover the black bits around the left eye and mouth...

Looks good so far.

If you really want to do this sort of stuff a lot then photoshop elements is a must.

I'd recommend making a blank version with no character on the right (one the left is done it can be transposed) and possibly even googling 'cobra logo' in large images or above to see if there is a version like this online.

I'm really looking forward to your poster though!

i don't have PS. i've got a *cough* copy*cough* but it doesn't work with Vista, cuz it's an OLD copy...

I've got Gimp 2 and PSP...

doubt it, cuz it's a v. old copy. if i send you the poster wallpaper, do you think you could try getting the creases out?
