Usually if you buy a boxed set you can buy a loose set as well, so it might make sense people getting together depending what they are interested in...
Am I alone in kind of wanting it but also not wanting it? Id have to get it but all my customs would become kind of surplus after that... Not sure if im expressing myself too well about this...

Well it does depend if they're any good or not... But then they'll only improve if there's a demand.

Im hoping they make great versions of the leadership - Ironblood, Black Major, etc but make a real hash of the Shadows themselves, then I can go on liking my customs...
And I wont have wasted silly money lopping heads off good Shads...

Out of my price range me thinks. Even if it wasn't, I'm not really into ARAH molds anymore, even if they
are
themed.

Gawd, that sounds awesome! But didn't Hasbro neglect the ownership of

...?
If we could, an organised campaign would be best.

here you go, this was in response to the possibility of making our own or resurrecting the brand:
Technically, it's not out of the realms of impossibility. The Action Man 40th. whilst badged up under Hasbro, is actually licensed to Modllers Loft. They carry the cost and the distribution and with Hasbro help source production of parts. Hasbro have someone in Rhode Island who is responsible for heritage brands, of which, all Palitoy produced products come under that persons remit (I've forgotten his name).
If properly financed, and proposed, the line could possibly be sublicensed the same way as Action Man 40th has away from GI Joe.
What is slightly an easier route though would be to arrange repaint or repacks of existing 25th line, Quarrel, Stalker, Jammer, Hunter etc and have a UK retailer/ independant dealer have it as an exclusive same way as you have in the US. A retool to make a new figure, like a Red Shadow might come at an additional cost as it's a newly created figure and Hasbro might want to retain that for their own line.
I'd love to do it and have an exclusive for All The Cool Stuff, but the outlay would suspend me from doing anything else.
Hope that helps a little giving some insight of what actually might be achievable.
Dave.

you really cant order a massive lot unfortunetely, at least in pass Conventions
You can only buy the NON attending package if you dont go with that I believe you can order a box set and a loose set
thats all, unless of course thier is extras. occassionally there are extras after the convention but I wouldnt hold out hope for it if it turns out to be the RED SHADOWS
why?
take the black dragon set from years before. really a made up group with only a sentence on one packaging ( before the ninja battles set and comic) from hasbro . It sold out
the RED SHADOWS are much more known and have a much better following
will keep this post updated, if anyone else is interested probally posting in this thread is a good idea as Ill be watching this closely and keeping this thread updated
if anyone else knows or sees something before I do please post it here as well
Id like to see us all organized by the first day and everyone order that first day
Again I want a box set and a loose set, but some of you for various reason may only want one or the two, so hopefully well get this sorted out before it becomes available

this is good info, we need to get in contact with this guy! and modelers loft too! and I agree at FIRST the likes of Quarrel, Stalker, Jammer, Hunter Dolphin Moondancer and Red Laser need to be done.
After that the others could be done , repaints from existing molds then would follow for other characters

Right we need to get a BFTB Lottery syndicate going! Alternatively pimp someone out any volunteers?
Seriously though if modellers loft can do this for Action Man they could probably do the same for AF. It would be nice if they would.
