I was similar, but on a weekend jaunt to London, with the other half, and the threat of a show of her choosing hanging over me like the sword of damocles, I thought it would be the best option, and went for some good tickets.
And it was absolutely brilliant. Obviously, you know a lot of the gags, as it is based around the Holy Grail, but it was very good all the same. And I found myself at times laughing before the gags happened, as I knew they were coming.
Peter Davison was King Arthur at the time - bizarre seeing Doctor Who, and Tristam out of James Herriot playing King Arthur.
Oh, and if anyone does choose to go see it, try to book seat D1 for the other half. You'll find out why...
